Can a Walk-In Lab order be refunded after it's placed?
Refunds are only allowed before the specimen is submitted for testing. Within 7 days of purchase, a refund goes back to the original payment method in full; between 8 and 180 days, a refund is issued minus a $10 cancellation fee; after 181 days, only a website credit is available, and no refunds or credit are issued after a full year.
How long is a Walk-In Lab order valid before it expires?
Lab orders are valid for 6 months from the purchase date. If it isn't used within that window, it can be renewed once at no charge, as long as the renewal is requested within a year of the original purchase.
Is the physician fee refundable?
No, the physician fee that accompanies certain lab orders is non-refundable, even when the rest of the order qualifies for a refund or credit.
Does Walk-In Lab price match other lab testing sites?
Yes, Walk-In Lab will match a lower price found on a competitor's website. A call to customer service before placing the order is required, and price matches cannot be combined with promotional coupon codes.
Can more than one coupon code be applied to an order?
No, only one coupon can be used per order, and coupons aren't valid for Health Care Provider accounts or combined with the loyalty rewards program's reward cards.
How does the Walk-In Lab loyalty program work?
Members earn 1 point for every dollar spent, plus bonus points for signing up, referring friends, leaving reviews, and other actions. Points convert into reward cards usable on future orders, and unused points expire 18 months after the last purchase.
Are home test kits eligible for discount codes?
No, home test kits and Monthly Special items are excluded from sitewide percentage-off promotions and most coupon codes, so it's worth checking whether a specific test qualifies before assuming a code will apply.
Can multiple tests be scheduled for different days on one order?
Not on a single order. If different tests need to be completed on separate days, it's best to place them as separate orders, since each additional order carries its own non-refundable physician fee.
