Frequently Asked Questions

What's the free shipping threshold at Yensa?

US orders ship free at $55 and up, Canadian orders at $70 and up, and international orders at $90 and up. Checking the cart total against these tiers before checkout avoids paying for shipping on an order that's close to qualifying.

How does Yensa's try-before-you-buy program work?

Through TryNow, a card authorization is placed for the order total at checkout, and the trial period starts once the package is delivered rather than when it ships. Only what's kept gets charged, and the trial period can't be extended except by contacting the customer experience team directly.

Which Yensa products are eligible for exchange?

Only complexion products, like foundation shades, are eligible for a direct exchange through the brand's returns portal. Everything else follows the standard return-for-refund process rather than a swap.

How long does a Yensa refund take to process?

Returns can take 10 to 15 days from shipping to reach the warehouse, and processing after that takes up to 3 weeks. An email confirms once the item is received and another confirms once the refund is issued, so it's worth waiting the full window before following up.

Can a Yensa discount code be combined with the free shipping offer?

Yes, free shipping tiers apply automatically at checkout and generally work alongside an active promo code rather than replacing it. Only one promo code applies per order, though.

Does Yensa offer a rewards or points program?

Yes, purchases earn points that can go toward future discounts, shown at checkout as points earned on that order. This runs separately from any newsletter or promo code discount.

Is Yensa's return process different for products bought through a trial?

No, items bought through TryNow follow the same standard return and refund policy once the trial charge has gone through. A return after being charged is treated the same as any other purchase.

Does Yensa offer a referral discount?

Yes, referring a friend typically gets them $10 off their first order over $50, and the referring customer receives a $10 credit once that purchase is made. This works independently of the sign-up or newsletter discount.

Saving Guide

Working the tiered free shipping thresholds:

Because the free shipping cutoff differs by destination, US shoppers should aim for $55, Canadian shoppers for $70, and international shoppers for $90. Adding a smaller skincare item to round out an order is often cheaper than paying a flat shipping fee below the line.

Using the try-before-you-buy option to test shades:

TryNow lets shoppers try complexion products at home before being charged, with the trial period starting at delivery rather than at checkout. This is especially useful for foundation shades, since only kept items get charged and unwanted ones can be returned before the trial ends.

Making use of the points program for repeat orders:

Since points accumulate with every purchase and redeem toward future discounts, frequent Yensa shoppers get more effective savings over time than relying solely on one-time promo codes. Checking the points balance before checkout can reveal a redeemable discount that isn't obvious from the cart page alone.

Timing an exchange correctly:

Only complexion products qualify for a direct exchange, so a shade mismatch on a foundation can be swapped, but a primer or lip product would need a standard return and separate reorder. Knowing this ahead of a purchase avoids an unexpected extra step.

Referring a friend for stacked savings:

The referral program gives both sides $10, which functions as an ongoing discount source separate from seasonal promo codes. This is worth using for a first Yensa order if a friend already shops the brand.

What to check before checkout:

Confirm the order clears the free shipping tier for its destination, apply an active promo code since it typically works alongside the shipping threshold, and note that only complexion items are exchange-eligible if shade matching turns out to be an issue.

About Yensa

The brand emphasizes shade-inclusive ranges and a philosophy of streamlining routines rather than layering on more steps. Shoppers can find current Yensa coupon codes and discounts on this page, which pair well with the brand's tiered free shipping offer.
